Probably the Pro 5.0. Its got a very tight pattern, with short, precise throws. The stick is shorter than stock (its the perfect height, the shift handle just touches the top of the boot) but not so short that you can't reach gears with the seat reclined. Also, if the stick is too short, it requires too much effort to shift. I think the Pro is the best compromise between shortened stick height and shorter throws.

Is that fixable or am I going to have to replace it? It only moves front to back it doesnt wobble side to side could it just need to be adjusted?

I'm in love with my Hurst Billet Plus shifter. The timeless chrome handle and the classic black ball mounted on top. I notice alot more road noise also, but thats because the factory boot will not fit over the Hurst shifter. I left it out for now, The only advantage I see with that boot in place is noise levels.

When I bought my car it had the B&M Ripper... The throws are decently long compared to my bros Cobra MGW(sp?) shifter, which is barely having to move your hand to shift from 1 to 2...
My friend bought a camaro last night and Im trying to figure out what shifter hes got. The throws are VERY short and a bit clunky. I dont know what shifter it is. I tried to get the shift **** off, but it wont unscrew. I have some pictures here if that will possibly help you determine what frikin shifter it is.. Because w/e it is, Im buying.. I dont like how long the throws are in my B&M..[p]
