Well, Thunder told me to drop dead so I ordered the Pro 5.0 from another sponsor today. I'll get the Ripper out Wed and get it on it's way to it's new owner.

I got the Pro 5.0 and tried the LS Short stick, but I didn't like the feel. So I cut 3/4 " off the threads on the original handle for the Pro 5.0 because it was just a little bit too tall for my liking and that did the trick...it's awesome! It's all about the feel and what you like.

I've tried both the 5.0 and the B&M. I like the 5.0 better because its notchy and has a low stick, but whats good about the B&M is that it easyier to hit gears because the rod is longer, which means less arm work. If you like notchy and the short stick go 5.0, I did.

It's kinda hard to explain. It's not noisy when you change gears, it's just that there is a bit of driveline noise that you can hear, it's nothing you can't tolerate IMHO. If your thinking of buying an aftermarket shifter and are worried about this then just have someone take you for a ride in their car who has one so you can hear what were talking about.

So which one of the shifters listed above actually alters the internal of geometry of the shifter so that the throws are actually reduced. I understand how a shorter stick reduces the throws, but what shifter offers the shortest throws while still retaining a longer lever?
