Ram PowerGrip HD for those interested *UPDATE*
got it installed Tuesday, havent driven it yet, but as soon as the weather clears up I'll post feedback...so far all i can tell you is the pedal is very heavy..the SPEC II I had in there was about 1.5 X heavier than stock, the RAM has to be at least 3X.....

what do u mean by heavy? As in pedal pressure taking more muscle to push it down? Thats what i'm looking for, i hate these clutches that feel like they should be in rice. I'm due for a new one this season so i'll look foward to some feedback...anyone else have updates/milage put on theres feel free to chime in too.

well i put mine in yesterday and its not too much stiffer than stock. its a 910 disk, i think its the powergrip HD it says HD on the box so that i what i am assuming. where is you guys release point with the pedal at? i put the shim behind the slave and it still seems kinda low for my taste. might have to make my master adjustable. and its pretty grabby too i like it so far

I put the hd in a few weeks ago, I put in a new slave and shim behind it, I think the release point is almost too low for me...but im a shorter guy, might take that shim out. but Ive been easy on it for about 500 miles then I really thrashed on it with my setup I have in my sig. This clutch handles it with ease so far. Its not hard to push down, yet quite a bit stiffer than stock, and not alot of chatter on take off, unless you slip it like your driving a stock style clutch. I suggest when driving this clutch is to let the car in front of you go , then get the car rolling, then let the pedal go, that way you dont burn it up, its sticky! its made to be driven like it!

nope. you have to buy all that on your own. spec does include a new pilot bearing. LS1joe says to use a bronze bushing for an old school camaro with a muncie 4 spd. get a new slave, not just the TO bearing.

I've broke everything in my rear end twice with this cluth.I don't like to be slipped at all.I have the ram powergrip hd 900 with the ram 26 pd flywheel. The main thing i love about it,is when you release the pedal you better hold on cause there is NO SLIPPING with it.

This all sounds good. If there is a way to take a guess...just outta curiousity, my car for example w/ around 400hp and 380ft/lbs torque, driving maybe 3 or 4000 miles a year, with a trip to the track maybe once in the season, and the rest cruisin to car shows and maybe getting on it on the highway here and there....what should i be expecting for life of this clutch?
