Default What Is The Part # For The Ls7 Clutch Kit And Ls2 Flywheel Thru Gm?!

I call them and the places around here dont know crap about F-Bodys. If someone could get me the part numbers I need to put an LS7 Clutch in my 98 Trans am that would be great! Thanks

i dont know the part number but i would ask around before your purchase.I saw a guy last knight blow his ls7 clutch the F*#k up in his zo6 with just headers.It stopped shiffting he replace his fluid made another past 11.50 best of the night 2 more past on the 3rd one boom sparks cable fluids all over track! That sucked fast *** car sorry clutch!

Crazy...well I am putting down around 400hp soo I just need a good clutch for 500 or less..any suggestions?

Were in the same boat. Clutch choice is in sig. The driveability is amazing, and it engages good and feels strong. That's my suggestion to you. Spec's, well i've heard alot of bad things so i'm staying away but that choice is all yours. Me and my buddy run the LS7's, no problems from either.

So you had to buy the LS7 Clutch and LS2 Flywheel? what did it run you? I work for Courtesy Mercedes..so I get my Employee Disount at the GM Dealerships..Plus I get it installed at the dealership for 60 bucks..not bad???

You really need to learn to use the search function of the board. There are over a dozen threads on this question. And yes, you do have to use the LS2 flywheel with the LS7 clutch. Fred Beans has some good prices.

Yes and yes. Got everything for less than $520, GM list price is much more though. And buy from a sponsor. 60 bucks is a helluva good labor price especially for a GM shop....i find that hard to believe.
