Default Heads up for M6 guys.

All the sudden my clutch pedal looses pressure and my engagement point drops to the floor. As I make it home and struggle up my steep drive way the pedal stuck to the floor and my car just took off into my garage so I killed the engine.

Obviously my slave crapped out and now it is time to pull the tranny apart that I just pulled out to put in my new Rev-Lok II and new 01 slave not too long ago(1400 miles to be exact with NO hard driving at all) from THUNDER RACING. I called thunder and they told me that "parts just break," so I said "well then I will never buy anything from you again if youre going to tell me parts just break" That is utter bullshit and they lost my business for good.

Just a heads up for people who believe in quality products and reputable distributors. Id like to hear what anyone else has to say about this.

well parts do break...its part of High performance modification...but it may be a bad slave...

But honestly that don't sound like thunder's policy

Just the man I was wanting to talk to!!!

Yes I understand parts do break when abused and raced but this is for my babied daily driver. Parts should not break when theyre designed for daily driving! VERY PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the input!

So do you have no pedal pressure at all? Is the fluid still the resevoir? Nineball had a great post about heat screwing with the hydralics on our clutches...they would stick and become sloppy if the slave line was too close to the header.

if it was all of a sudden, then its possible the slave blew but thats not really thunder's fault that would be more GMs fault for selling a faulty slave

Very true! I just asked and talked to Angie and she took care of me very well!! She is sending me a new slave so I can send her my old one and she will get ahold of GM. I am very pleased with Thunder Racing now that I was taken care of very professionally.

I agree with Gator. To come out and bash a great sponsor over something that they can't control is B.S.

In defense of Thunderracing, they deal with LS1's all the time. They know we never ever abuse our car

I have nothing but great service from Thunder.

And yes **** does break.

OK. First of all, I was trying to inform everyone about what happened. Every single other porson would be pissed about a broken part within a month so screw off. I was pissed at first but I the first guy I talked to said I was S.O.L. so then I called to talk to the manager and she was great to deal with. Two responses from two situations from the same company. Quit bitchin
