Flywheel and Pressure Plate?
Just wondering, do you guys think it would be a good idea for me to have my Used flywheel and pressure plate balanced before I do my t56 swap. Id rather do it now than pulling the tranny back out later because of vibrations.
Thanks
Thanks

How used is used? If you're going to resurface the flywheel, then yes. If not, if they were originally balanced together (factory or aftermarket) and retain their alignment markings, you can use those.
If you're still unsure, it's cheap insurance to have it done.

thanks for the replys guys, Yeah they have a few miles on them, and the flywheel doesnt look too bad but im going to have it resurfaced anyways, the pressure plate came out of a 00 vette i believe with under 30k miles on it, the front side is a bit rusty.

If these parts were not originally installed together then yes you should have the balance checked. We suggest doing this with any parts that were not originally installed and balanced together. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

hey thanks for the info, the Pressure Plate and disc came out of a 00 corvette and the flywheel is out of an f body. what exactly do I need to tell the machine shop to do? just resurface the clutch and pressure plate and make sure they are both balanced, or have them balanced together?
