I had my T-56 rebuilt this summer and had the synchro's replaced. I understand it is a weak part of the T-56, will the RIpper with stops installed save the synchros more so than my stock shifter with a short stick? Also is it easier to nail the 3-4 shift?

a ripper will help you out tremendously, and the stops wil make it easier on yout transmissions internals.

Grabbing gears is much easier with a quality shifter. I haven't missed a gear with the B&M yet. It feels much more solid and the shifts are shorter. For under $200 I think it is a must do mod.

The t-56 does have internal stops but...the bumpers on the stops break down and become thinner. The bumpers are "crushed" if you will by shifting really hard. When the bumpers get thinner they allow the shifter to travel further then intended, this bends the shift forks. The external shifter stops will prevent the internal stops from being crushed and the fork traveling to far.
