As far as I know it's just CR and a few sensors now don't quote me by that.
More informed people will jump in I hope.

I believe the only difference is one had dished piston & one has flat top pistons from the factory. So just a minor compression difference. I believe they have identical heads/intake/cam though.

.5 in compression and the lq9 is hard to come by compared to the lq4

Anyone ran a ls2 intake on a 5.3? I'm putting my ls6 on it but was wondering if anyone had done the ls2. I tried a search and got nothing worth a ****.

Not really any different than the LS1/LS6 intake except it flows alot more & you'll need a cable TB of course. I had a ported LS2 I was going to use with a billet 90mm TB but had to sell it in a pinch. All I needed for the intake itself was these parts:

Katech part # KAT-A4096
Katech part # KAT 4751

IIRC this allows you to use your factory LS1 rails & is a MAP sensor extension since placement is different on the intake.

Does anyone know what the average price for a bare LS3 block?
And L92 heads?

And if anyone has either of these I would love to purchase them.
I'm going to be getting my build along!

And that's gunna be a pretty penny, the heads maybe $500 of eBay all stock and the block a grand? Maybe more not 100% haven't looked in a little while.

TOTALY off topic, but since I haven't got updates in months and ive been busy and broke, I was wandering if any one has bought a Thompsonmotorsports short or long block? A 370 is $1999.00. Plus the ride with ton of upgrades. A forged 370 is $2499.00 with a two year warranty. It's an iron block but I have a 6.0 in my car already. (Lq4 supposed to be an lq9 but local salvage lies). Just curious if y'all have any experience with them

Most of the parts I've collected just accumulate all over my house.
I have a very forgiving wife!
I've got a stack of tires, my tool box, and a k member in my living room.
Along with my bike.

Hey guys, Squirlnutz directed me over here. I was wondering if any Okie, even one displaced in the Northeast, can post in here?

To illustrate that I have not been Yankeefied too much:

Only reason I can get away with it is because my wife has all her junk in the garage.
And her parents have some crap in there also.
Otherwise I would have a shop to do something with.
I do enjoy coming home every day and seeing all my stuff laying around makes me feel pretty good.
