I believe the only difference is one had dished piston & one has flat top pistons from the factory. So just a minor compression difference. I believe they have identical heads/intake/cam though.

Katech part # KAT-A4096
Katech part # KAT 4751
IIRC this allows you to use your factory LS1 rails & is a MAP sensor extension since placement is different on the intake.

Not really any different than the LS1/LS6 intake except it flows alot more & you'll need a cable TB of course. I had a ported LS2 I was going to use with a billet 90mm TB but had to sell it in a pinch. All I needed for the intake itself was these parts:

And that's gunna be a pretty penny, the heads maybe $500 of eBay all stock and the block a grand? Maybe more not 100% haven't looked in a little while.

TOTALY off topic, but since I haven't got updates in months and ive been busy and broke, I was wandering if any one has bought a Thompsonmotorsports short or long block? A 370 is $1999.00. Plus the ride with ton of upgrades. A forged 370 is $2499.00 with a two year warranty. It's an iron block but I have a 6.0 in my car already. (Lq4 supposed to be an lq9 but local salvage lies). Just curious if y'all have any experience with them

Only reason I can get away with it is because my wife has all her junk in the garage.
And her parents have some crap in there also.
Otherwise I would have a shop to do something with.
I do enjoy coming home every day and seeing all my stuff laying around makes me feel pretty good.
