Default Any way I can get onto the track?

Well, I am 16 I want to bring my car to the track. I am very mature and look a lot older than I am. Any way I can get in? I need a place to race my car because I promised my gf I wouldn't do it on the street anymore....try going 2 months without mashing the gas.... I saw GLD had a kid racing program or sumthing...but I want to go more often.

IRP requires a signed parental waiver.....maybe you could just have one in the car when you go? I'm not sure if it's an "official" form that needs signed, but doing one on your own couldn't hurt. That way you're covered if you do get carded.

if you are going to race and have to prove it, you will need BOTH legal gaurdians there. Not just one, i did this for 2 years w/o parent permission at 41. I'm 18 now, just when you do your tech card, write down 18 or so. they usually wont question you. 41 definately will not.

Just show up in the tech line wearing your helmet. "Safety" usually means "maturity"

well thanks for the replies guys. You would think that they would let you into the track because a lot of people my age would be racing on the street and endangering others...I guess we all think differently Hope to be there in a couple weeks..

I was racing at GLD when I was 16, I didn't even know there was an age limit.
