Can you hear me now?
Does anyone use their fbody as a daily driver in the warm months with cam, lt headers & catback? I just had headers, cam & pulley added to my setup and .
It seems pretty loud. Pulling out of my driveway at 6:30 am is a little .
Anyone have any problem with the police regarding the noise?

I was seriously thinking about putting the stock muffler back on. I mean there is a time & place for everything and rumbling past a squad car early in the morning just doesnt seem right. It sounds really good though. Maybe Im just getting too old.

I know what your talking about, I love keeping my dump open, but sometimes it needs to be closed, (Hell I am am sure my apartment building loved it what I left the other right a 3am and forgot my dump was open. That is one good thing about having an electic dump, screw climbing under the damn car to open and close the damn dump, now it is just a breeze a, push of a button. It is great being lazy sometimes.

hmm most of my neighbors have never complained about my late night wrenching let alone my exhaust (full lenth, pypes x pipe, pro-streets, dynomax over the axle pipes.).
However the neighbor across the street from me (regular two lane road nothing fancy) up until recently called the cops on me every single time I started my car no matter what time of day, and no I'm not kidding. Any time I or my brother started my car, or his 85 S10 V8 conversion, or his 79 Corba she would call the cops. they drove by a few times but after awhile I think they stopped coming.
One day she was mowing the grass and I opened the cutouts. I started the car she heard me, and quickly dissappeared into the house. She came back out as I was getting ready to leave. Stupid Neighbor. I have elder neighbors who like to complain about a lot of things, but they have never once complained about my exhaust even at 3am when I come home w/ cutouts open

my neighbors tend to be ok with my car. We also tend to have the horsepower avenue in my town. My cammed car, one neighbor has a TT viper and the other has a H/C viper that runs open headers all the time. so I really can't complain, they make noise, I make noise and we all go about with our lives.
