SLP iron 402 motor for sale/trade i have the iron SLP 402 shortblock, patriot performance stage3 ls-6 heads, fast 90mm intake w/ N.W. 90mm t.b. MTI stealth 2 cam. SLP ported oil pump, SLP timing chain. comp-R lifters, hardened pushrods, stock rocker arms. 30lb SVO injectors, tuned by SpeedInc. stock crank pulley and water pump and brackets. motor makes 500+ h.p. and well over 500 ft/lbs of torque. that is with full accessories and through a full exhaust. no cut outs or dyno tricks. car pulls strong from idle to 7k rpm. the motor is pretty fresh. just put it in the car in may, and it's a weekend cruiser. only a few thousand miles on it. i have not had one problem at all. the motor idles like stock and is emissions friendly w/ a set of cats behind it. also would get great gas mileage in a 6spd car.
this motor got my car w/ a 3,550lb raceweight and drag radials and stock shocks and springs to 11.1@120mph off IDLE!
with slicks and suspension the car would have gone 10.9's. idling like stock, w/ the A/C on. 
over $8,000 in the motor
will trade for aluminum block motors, or stock or near stock motors with money on top.

two reasons... one, i need money for bills, and 2nd, i wanted the iron block becuase i was planning on spraying 300+ h.p. worth of nitrous at it... then funds ran short and i decided i wanted to stay n/a for now. so i don't need the extra weight.
