In the summer, my friends and I make Toot's drive thru a hangout spot. Outdoor, crowded but quiet and just enough room to park a few nice cars in that intersection. Gives us a good view. Not the best area to cruise in the crowded NW side but definately areas to park and watch.

One of my friends used to tell me about MFBA meets at Busse woods like 5 years ago, that's where he met most of his fbod buds. Unfortunately I never made it out. Not sure if they still have them.

I hung out at Strats off of North Ave and 83rd, 4 Corners, which is Lemont and 75th, S&S which is Harlem and 159th, Lansing cruise night which is Camlumet and I forgot, various Hooter's including Fox Valley, Downer's Grove, and Orland Park. That is all I can think of now. This year I am gonna do a lot of cruising, as well as the NFME event at Indianapolis Park, as well as the Hot Rod Drag Week.

well Photo's finally really died which sucks, we were there most weekends for what, like 6 years lol. maybe it'll make a comeback this year?
um..head down to strats now and then.
a cool show that is always hopping like hell is Woodfire..the Voodoo Kings car club hosts that every Sat. as i recall its Rowhling(sp?) and Iriving Park..not far from the elgin ohare.
there's always fridays at rolling meadows/Kirchoff road over near 53.
both those shows you gotta be there early or no spot for you, only thing that sucks. strats isn't far from Woodfire tho, we'd go there then strats and it made a pretty good nite of cruising, etc.
didn't check out wed nites at elmhurst at all this year, seems like ever since they moved it out of the main downtown area couple summers ago it became an even bigger clusterfuck then ever if you can imagine it..but still prolly the most hopping thing around here.
we did i think it was downtown lombard once this summer. lot of cars, no people walking around. boring.
there's a few smaller ones at liek steak and shakes near me on diff weekenites, stuff like that.

Every thursday I cruise the downtown Crystal Lake car show and go to Hooters afterwards. They get about 200 cars from muscle to latemodel vettes/f-body and a few imports
I also cruise around schaumburg, streets of woodfield and stop at hooters there!!
This summer I am going to organize f-body meets for both the crystal lake car show every thursday and cruises in schaumburg (so many imports to beat up on).
Actually both areas are a good time.
Also I would like to see about organizing an f-body or LSx dyno day at speed inc, and afterwards a schaumburg cruise and dinner!
If anyone is interested any of these PM me....

I wanted to do more stuff last summer, but my wife was pregnant and I had to do all the packing for when we moved in late June.
I always like the old Strats on Mannheim, is the one on North Avenue decent, not a bunch of kids and dummies doing burnouts?

i dated the chick for a bit that owns the libertyville culvers on 176. she does stuff there, but i know i could get whatever up there going if people wanted a good place to chill with no problems. i know the show she'd been doing was going well tho already too. i didn't go up there at all this past summer tho.
