Here is the info and class break outs. I realize a lot of people are going to complain about it being an import show, but if you're racing you really don't have anything to do with the show. Last year the track was well prepped so no need to worry about the usual IRP ice skating that goes on. In fact, there was a turbo BBF Lightning that had a personal best at the time last year. Tech mainly consisted of them making sure you had a pair of pants, and if need be a helmet. They really want to see the Pony class take off so get your cars ready and go race.

Alright guys it's that time of year to start getting your cars ready for some drag racing!!! I really want to encourage people to get out there and race regardless of how fast or slow your car is. It is a great experience for beginners as well as seasoned racers, and we all know that the fastest car does not always win! There have been only a few minor adjustments from last year in hopes of improving the event even more. One of those includes the addition of a new class. So read carefully and make sure you know what class you want to run!!

There will be actual qualifying sessions and we will use a Pro Tree...but with a sportsman ladder. We feel that this is the best way to organize this in the spirit of good competition. Any racer that does not qualify in their designated class will be allowed to race brackets. This is an NHRA track, so NHRA safety rules apply.
There will also be a Friday night grudge session under the lights. The tree will be on, but the scoreboard off. The win lights will show which lane won the race, and you will receive a timeslip at the end of the track. This will be a good time for anyone wanting to brush up on their skills, or if you just want to come out and look for some $$ races. It's also a great opportunity for you guys who are strictly into showing your car to come out and enjoy the drag strip. Your ITB registration will get you into this grudge session free of charge.
IF YOU HAVE A PRO CLASS CAR AND YOU WANT TO RACE, CONTACT ME AT vtecluke99@aol.com
Pro cars will not be allowed in the classes with the street cars, but please contact me if you would like to race. Payouts are available for you.

Yup!
You seriously need to get that cam in your car and go to this. Actually, even as you sit right now I bet you would be coming home with the money. Last year 1st place (Eli with the blue GTO) in pony class ran a 12.9 in the final.

i know there are a lot of cars around here that are quicker and faster than mine, i wouldn't dare bring a low 12 sec car to try and win.
all it would take is another stalled ls1 with a cam or even a stick car with a cam and 12 bolt. i know of a couple notchback stangs around here that would easily hand me my ***...
but it would be fun, nonetheless.

Chad, the car is still torn down. I leave in Sept to go overseas for 4 months. When I get back I should have a **** ton of parts waiting on me. Should be interesting to see what comes of it ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Sean, last year the track was prepped well enough for FMOS Racing to run a 9.9 in his Lightning. At the time that was a personal best for him. Even all the FWD imports were saying how nice the track was. If I remember right a few of those guys set new bests that day as well.

i don't foresee any new bests as it will most likely be hot...but should be fun.
