Has this ever happened to you? My truck backfired this morning. Guess I should have got welded mufflers. That is a Cheap Flowtech Raptor. They sound nice but come on!!

One time my uncle and I got his 69 vette out of storage to drive around and clean up. It had been sitting for a LONG time, and kinda ran like ****. He went to the gas station to put some fresh gas in it and heard a weird noise from the back of the car (it was off). All of a sudden the muffler exploded, it has a mouse nest in it and had built up back pressure when he drove it, and finally just exploded while he was parked there. Scared the **** out of the people at the gas station!

I had an 87 wrangler with a carb'd 4.2l i used to do that all the time!!! LMAO!!! Its the funniest thing in the world when someone is not expecting it... you dont even have to pump the gas... i would just shut it off in like third gear at like 30 and turn the ignition back on like two seconds later and BANG! I got pulled over once, he thought i was throwing m-80s i told him i just had it worked on and apparently they didnt know what they were doin
LOL Needless to say thats what mine looked like.... but do it enough and it shoots sparks out too! lol

I certainlly was not trying to blow my muffler. I just got my Sweet thunder yesterday. I am very interested to see how they sound on the OLDS 350 we swapped in.
