Does anyone know what is the lowest percent tint you can have for side and back windows in IL. Im debating between a 15% and 5% tint.

I dont think there are laws about the back windows, but I am almost positive you cant have any at all on the front.

you can have whatever you want on the back but the sides are a no no. But my doctor says that i have a driving condition so i need to have them on my sides lol.

Tint is illegal in Illinois... hasnt stopped me from having it in my DD and the Formula.

Ya you can tint any window behind the driver. The sides & front 0 tint allowed.
Yes nitrous is illegal as well, they will fvck with you for all of them.

I think that if i get pulled over in my case i would be given a professional Courtesy. But i havent had any problems yet. I also dont drive the car everyday it's mostly a weekend ride.

I have been pretty lucky. You can see in the pic in my sig, the camaro is really dark(too dark, that is how I bought it) the truck is 15 or 18% I think. I never get any hassle, and I have been pulled over in both. Depends on who you get. Just make sure you unroll your windows before they get there and it doesnt hurt to turn on the interior light. Makes the tine look less dark.

doesn't matter just get the dark because they will give you a ticket for any tint, mine is only 35 and i still got a ticket...so if you are debating on wether or not they will mess with you if it is light or dark it really doesn't matter in my area...it is either percent or none

No tint is legal in the front windows. I pay about 100 bucks a year to keep mine. Ive basically finances my tint for ever with the city of Chicago.

I have 20% on all mine.. Ill prob take it off if I ever get stopped.. I do however think these cars look way better with dark windows.. Also , I know its really ugly , but I run the front plate on my car , thats one less thing they look at , so it keeps their eyes off my tint.
