can anyone recommend a Trans shop?? Does anyone have any recommendations in the chicagoland area for a trans shop?? 4l60e rebuild

That is all you need to know. I wouldn't waste my time with any other builder for the 4L60E. Chuck/Vince are the best. That is all.

FLT hands down. They are THE BEST shop around. if you are local stop in when you pick it up. Chuck and vince made my trans purchase so easy and I learned some stuff about my trans too when I was there. if I ever need another trans it is going to be built by them!
