Default 12th annual National F-body Motorsports Event--INDY THIS YEAR!

http://www.fbody-event.org/index.php

As we do every year, we're inviting folks to attend the National F-body event...this year in Indy. EVERY previous attendee I've ever heard from will tell you it's the best possible event to go to. We have all the racing you can stand, AND, all the gathering-esque, dinner, parking-lot, hang-out time you can handle also.

http://www.fbody-event.org/index.php

(note, the new name, so that GTO and other GM owners feel more comfy is the "national muscle car event")

Traditionally the event was member-only, but this year we're operating on an invitation-only setup. Please accept this as my formal invitation to all of you to come and register and join us.

Please, anyone with specific questions, email me privately or send me a PM, I've been to almost all of them, and if I can't answer the question, I'll find someone who can.

Guys, Girls, really....no better time, no better people, just absolutely the best bang for your buck.

So you don't have to be sub'd to the lists, you can just register? Thanks.

You can be subbed to the forum or to the lists in even digest mode. Very much worth it.<-----How it was previously, not any more, see below:

EDIT: Consider this your invitation from us, to all forum members, come and register for the event, you DO NOT have to be a member of the mailing list or forum.

We'd like for you to join and participate, even if it's AFTER the event happens and you get to know some of us, but for now, registration is based on invitation and you are ALL invited.

There is a caravan section, unfortunately it's really under-used...there are usually quite a few caravans coming from all different directions.

We all stay in the same hotel, hang out, bs, bench race, then we settle all the bench racing the next day at the track...come back, do it all over again, for 3 days!

Awesome!

I went last year and it was a blast even though there was not a lot of cars.

I doubt I will race this year. I don't think my car will be done in time but I am going to try.

We'd love to see alot of you guys at the INDY event, bring the old f-body.org mailing list crowd together with the newer-aged ls1tech and other forums...and we'd love to get speed inc. and some of the other more local shops involved, we have some fairly attractive sponsorship deals....AND, you can come out and beat the snot out of the shop car(s) with us. LOL

Last year we had a smaller turnout than years past, the dates had something to do with that...this year, late june, should be right on, I think.

I have been to this event 4 times and it is well worth the trip. I don't do road racing, but as far as drag racing goes, unlimited passes down the most famous NHRA track in the world is tough to beat as far as the fun factor is concerned. The track is prepped like a national event, and you can run a pro tree or the traditional .5 tree. Every thing from 15 second stockers to 8 second thumpers attend, and there are several brackets to choose from. it sure beats going to the local venue, where you sit in staging all night and may get 3 or 4 passes at most. The people are great, and how much fun you have is only limited by how much sleep you need.

If I remember right last year there was a GTO that got EASY 40 passes in, that may have even been on one day.

I took home like 25 slips and just raced every now and then.

Well worth the money.

Track hooks IF you are on a sticky.

Edited the "membership" info for participation...you do not need to be a member, this is your invitation. See above.

Come and register, spaces are limited.

I'm pumped for this year, I am every year, but really this year for some reason. We have Thunder Racing and Carolina Auto Masters as 2 of our sponsors this year, should be another fantastic event.

Registration and payment are OPEN! Talk about a good deal, my bill for my wife and I, including the banquet was $168! That's 3 days of all the racing you can do, all the fun you can imagine. NOW THAT'S HARD TO PASS UP!

This is the 1st and maybe only year we're allowing new folks to attend without joining the mailing list or the forum, so get in while you can, you won't regret it. Ask anyone that's ever come, there is no better event to attend, period.

Registration closes in less than 1 month, sign up today!
