Thanks for the offer man. That sounds like a plan. I am sure Rodney wouldn't mind coming down again. Maybe this time he will stay and we can head out and get some beers or something. Maybe Rodney will want a margarita, right Rodney? Haha. I am busy this weekend but maybe one of the weekends coming up? Whatever works for you, and if Rodney can come down that would be cool too.

I can probably make it back to DSM. Next thing we do to yoru car though Andy, we are doing at my parents house in palo. nate has been there. Its a nice sized garage, and its heated, and soon to be air conditioned. Anyhow, im sure I can make it back as long as its before the weather gets too shitty. i got my relocation brackets in today, so they need to go onto the car also. I know I know, thats an entire 20 minute job, but still.

Our workshop is heated and air conditioned, plus plenty of tools. I used to be a GM tech at Crescent, then at Shottenkirk. I have all of my tools at my parents place. So I should have everything we would need. but I would be up for another mini road trip out to Palo again too. I don't really care. But this time if I go out there, I'm taking the IROC instead of the fricken truck. Rodney, if you want to come out here with your car, we could put it in next to his and have both inside to work on.
Here are some pics of the garage. with the last two pics being taken tonite.
I know... it needs cleaned.

sweet. Well i got the lca relo brackets in tonight, and im not sure I like them. the wheel hop is gone, but it seems to have worse traction issues. first gear is completelly worthless unless you peddle it something fierce, and second gear is all over the place, third hooks up though...... Also removed the front sway bar, and the car does transfer abit better, but man is that ****** all over the place when the tires are spinning. Really have to drive the **** out of it now. Kind of fun really!

Good to hear the wheel hop is gone Rodney. At least the rear will last a little longer. Maybe on a track it might get a little better traction? We will have to set up a time to meet unless you all just want to wait until the spring. Winter time is time for mods though. I also got a DMH electric cutout motor to put on my cutout. Got a couple of things for us to do then .

Dave, sorry about last night bro. I got to my Grandma's house, where my car is being stored, opened the garage, and realized I didn't have my damn keys. I left them laying on the counter at home which is 25 mins from Des Moines. I really wanted to head up to Ames for a bit. We will have to get together another time.
So guys, when are we having my install get together ?

Anyone up for some racing on Sunday???

I'd go, if there were a few other guys willing to make the trip. It is right about 200 miles to the track, it is an easy drive...We'd be coming back in the dark though...

December 1st is a go by me. Let me ask the g/f tonight, but it should be fine by me, and yeah, we can use my garage. I spent the last three days getting that red car on a rotisserie, so now it doesn't take up much space, and you can move it pretty easily.
