Probably a good place to start. You always want to use the less abrasive method as possible. You could always wet sand it too.

You ***** Rodney, you would do that. However, maybe I should consider that since I can't drive a M6, hahaha.

Oh he knows how it feels. I had to pick him up at tri-state with my truck and trailer. No, you will never live it down Jason. Glad to see the car is running well. Now get the bottle back on.

Good news is, they are pretty much useless any way & your car runs cool. I have an idea on what we can do to check it out tomorrow.

If nothing else, time for an aeroforce!!!

Not yet Scott. We are shooting for tomorrow after work. So, that means no Rookies for me unless we can make that a stop after we start getting some drive time done . I will talk to Jon and see what he says about heading over there for a bit. I would like to go since it is going to be pretty nice out and I don't have to work.

Tell Jon to come to Rookies, I need to have him fix my speedometer anyways. Tell him to dust off the GTO and get his *** out

Actually I remember this day, kind of. I think a big Red Dodge was trailering the car too Putting two and two together, but I believe that day it was because of some spun rod bearings

so I got my baby repainted... (black again) but, the guys who painted it kind of did a shitty job... there's still primer under the doors.. you can see it when you stand far away from the car... and when you're up close to her, there's swirl marks in the paint and kind of "dirty" looking smeers all over it (almost like I waxed the car but didnt get all the wax off...) So it looks like hell basically. Oh, and there's dirt in the paint on the driver side door. Looks like i'll be taking her back to them to have it repainted ( i wont have her back for another two weeks... great, the weather is supposed to be awesome too). If they dont fix it, i'm taking them to small claims. (I paid 1300 to have it done. Basically, my "friends" opened a shop and needed a project car to help get them out there and advertise.... ughhh I'm not happy. I ran my car through Simoniz yesterday (two weeks after it was painted) but didnt wax it... so that shouldnt effect it. And there's already scratches on it? AHHHHH whatever. I'M NOT HAPPY. Oh and I need new front brakes.... cha ching... I have horrible luck with this car.

I just got out of therapy from that deal & now you guys have to bring it up again. Thankfully GM built more of these LS1s!!!

jay_dub87-It sounds like a bad deal & if they want to use a car that looks like your descrbing to get a new shop started, they won't be around long.
