That is the one. that track is deadly to LSX cars. I had to pick up another budy of ours up there a couple years back for a rear end issue.
I might have to try and make it out to rookies with you guys. That is if you dont mind a big dodge pick up in the parking lot.

I am going to try my hardest to get Jon to hang out at Rookies for a bit Scott. I would love to head over there. If for some reason we don't end up tuning tomorrow I will be there for sure. Wont be able to drive the car, but I will be there.

yeah, i love to paint, i just hate all the prep work that goes into it. Basically anyone can make paint look good if you can do great preping/sanding/body work. Im still learning the whole wet sanding and buffing thing for this year. Before i usually got to paint in a down draft booth so everything layed really flat, now that ive been painting some stuff at home im battling a little orange peel and dirt ever once in a great while. Also now im paint with a sharpe or krimlin gun, where in the booth i used to get to use a sata...huge difference.

As far as engine stuff...i basically have that covered for the most part for myself

Well guys I am in muscatine (yea it sux here) but my car is torn down right now for a rebuild but maybe when all the parts come in and the block is machined we could have a GTG here and get her up and going

But the car went down as a result of a spun lifter tearing a cam lobe up After its done it will be MUCH better and MUCH faster.

Anyone near good with rear ends?

I tried to back out without warming the car up, big no no, it didn't like it & probably made more noise. Next time, no holds barred!!!

Saw a camaro earlier today roaming around Ames, red with blank manta. Z06 wheels and it seemed like TD (pipes appeared to stop right before the rear end). Looked pretty nice and sounded real good . It was really nice out today, but its gonna rain tonight/tommorow, gotta love iowa.

It keeps getting harder and harder to get anything done right for a fair price

I dropped off my 2 rear bogart wheels and brand new mickey thompson drag radials to get mounted and balanced. I dropped them off right before work yesterday and told them I would pick them up today. So I go to pick them up and the guy says you didn't want them balanced did you. Huh...of course I want them balanced. So he looks and they have weights on them so he says they've been balanced then I pick one of them up and it's flat. He puts some air in it and says it will seal up eventually. I had to get my azz to work so I didn't have time to argue with him, but I'll be heading back tomorrow to butt heads with the sumb*tch!! I really don't trust that they've balanced either wheel and they definately didn't get the beed right on at least one of them because that tire has already lost half of its pressure.
