There are several of us going up together from Osky area tomorrow around 5pm but still takes 2+hrs to get there.
If any of you guys come up to CFR stop by and say hi and kick me in the junk so i know its people from the forums lol. Hell half the time i'm talking to people that know me and i feel about stupid cuz i don't know them lol

Well CFR was an experience! Several of my buddies didn't get to run due to the "MUST HAVE MUFFLERS & DOT TIRES" rule which sucks but I got to run.
I found out why my car has been leaving the line like a complete turd, a guy on corvette forums told me to cycle my traction control button a couple of times after my burnout and wahlaw, it doesn't seem to be bogging the motor or seem like the rear brakes are on when i launch.
Ran my personal best 7.51 @ 95 1/8 & 11.70 @ 118 1/4 on motor
6.98 @ 101 1/8 @ 10.82 @ 127 on N20
Still not happy but at least we're going the right direction now lol
Oh, and ended up winning the Fastest Domestic class but lost final round to an RX7 w/ an LS1 with alot of N20 lol - ran in the 12's all night to he ran me, caught me at the 1/8 and he said bye bye to me and hit the button and pulled 2+ cars in front of me, he ran 10.69 @ 136...................WOW! - Oh well, still had fun!

Should've put a bigger pill in it!
Im not to upset that I didnt get to run, at the time it was kinda of upsetting. I did go home and throw the exhaust back on it tho, along with the street wheels and tires. I plan on getting the nitrous kit on soon and going back. It should haul on a 100 shot.
For now I plan on driving it until the cruise to the woods. After that cruise the Drag wheels will be back on it and ill run cordova and KCIR a couple times.

Yeah its easy to say it now but if i knew that was going to happen i would of shut off the progressive shot off and just went 100% right at the activation, probably would of blown the tires off and ended up like that mustang that hit the wall though lol.

I will be there this year! Trying to decide whether to drive it over with the cool wheel/tires on it or put back on the street wheels. My wife doesn't get off work till 6, you think 7:30 is too late to show up to it? Hopefully its earlier than that but that'd be the latest we'd show up. (Dont worry bout the food times)

I'm looking for some 18" wheels that will fit my snow tires & fit on my f body...The wheels I had for the GTO won't work out, let me know if you have anything. (CHEAP!)
OR if anyone needs some 245-45-18 Blizzaks, let me know, I'll deal on them. They are awesome tires!!! I didn't have one problem all of last year, the GTO did excellent in all that snow we had, I was beating 4x4 trucks off the line, going up hills.

Blizzaks are awesome! I have those for my super powerful Yaris for the winter and i'll pass people when its slick out and they'll start honking and flashing their lights like i'm going to fast but it sticks like glue.
Anyone go to Josh's bonfire last night? I had everything ready to go but it just wouldn't stop raining....... I hate Iowa sometimes.

We had about 25 peeps show up despite the rain. About 4 cars showed up...everyone else drove daily drivers. Most of the time was spent BS'ing, shooting pool, and watching the game.
Thanks to those that did show up...at least we all got to see a 2009 Bentley Continental! Hopefully next year the weather will cooperate better.
