I've found that having the Y pipe loose & prying it down with a bar while you tighten the bolts works the best for floor clearence. (as dumb as that sounds...it seems to work.)

Or you could be a kitty like Scottk & take it to the exhaust shop...

Its a hooker y pipe, but i cant even get them to come close on the drivers side its way off the y pipe hits a support for the cross member and keeps it about an inch below the header. I dont know i just figured id give it a break for a day or so then go check it out again..Just sucks to have that much money in a set of headers and y pipe and have this much trouble with them.

Hooker ypipes are notorious for poor fitment on both the LT1 and LS1's. You really have to fight till your death to make it just right and then you obviously want to avoid that ypipe smacking the bottom of your car, cause if it does, you will get some severe issues with KR.

lol. Guess ill just keep fighting it then.

Whammer: I think i know where theres a good burgundy bumber cover i can probably get it pretty reasonable if your interested..I probably should buy it since mine needs replaced but ill just work on mine and fix it.

On another note I have to repaint my hood and if you want I can spray that cover for pretty cheap too for you, unless your just wanting to repaint your whole car. Ill have to spray my hood and if i get my bumber cover prepped before then ill spray it too. Let me know!

Never did get my car out. WHen I was in town it was shitty weather and didnt want to get it out in the snow. Damnit.....
Yeah I will probably just do that. It might be a bit before I am able to get the car out there to get it dyno tuned. At least then it would run half way decent too. I also need to get an estimate for my front bumper for where I clipped that deer. Can't hardly notice it unless you are really looking for it though. That might have to wait a while to get fixed though.

Put about a 4 inch crack right by my fog light and busted my turn signal. You can hardly see the crack though so it isn't THAT big of a deal but still pisses me off though.

That sucks. About 2 years go I saw the front of a 5-series BMW that hit a big deer. It was out at Scotty's Body shop near downtown DSM, it looked like a bomb went off under the front of the car. The amount of deer in my area was alot lower then previous years. Good thing, I'd hate to hit one.

Cool man I will keep that in mind. Can a crack like that be repaired though? I figured I would need a whole new front clip.

if its made out of the same stuff as the rear bumper cover of my 97 you may need a new one. mine spider webbed pretty bad and i had a guy fix it cause i planned on selling it. about 2 months later you could see it again and now that i'm not selling it ever IT PISSES ME OFF! haha. maybe someone will know more about that than i do but i'm just going to get a new cover sometime, probably when i paint the rest of the car

yeah it should be able to be, would have to see it before saying it could or not. I had a crack in one of my fenders down where it bolted to the body and he plastic welded it and reinforced it with nylon mesh and you cant even notice it was broke. I watched him fix another bumper cover for a srt 4 that was torn and it turned out very well. But if you want to just get another bumper cover and have it fixed thats plausable too, it all depends what you want to do!

Most likely the reason it spidered again is because who ever painted it didnt use any adhesive promotor or to little if any flex additive, and when your bumper cover got hot it expanded and cracked the paint...I made that mistake on my bumber cover

I just want it too not be noticeable at all. The car has really low miles and I want it perfect you know? Everything blended nice so you can't tell it was ever there. Probably will have to get a new cover for that to happen though huh?
