Iowa Fastest Cars?

Speaking of get togethers, the guys on SVTP.com are hosting a car gathering and cruise. It is Saturday, April 26th. It is starting with people meeting at the Buffalo Wild Wings by Jordan Creek Mall, hanging out there for a bit, then cruising out to Saylorville where we have a shelter reserved for the afternoon/evening.
People will be meeting at BWW in the noon-2:00pm time frame and hanging out there for a while (eating, checking out cars, etc) and then doing the cruise from BWW to Saylorville.
It is geared mostly towards to the Ford/SVT vehicles, but opened to all who are interested. I think as of now there is around 20 cars or so scheduled ot be there.
Here are some links for information if you are interested:

Hmmm might consider going to Hooters Saturday night my bday is today so that is about the only night I can go out to celebrate it. I "think" I'm going to the Arca race at Newton Saturday as well.
As far as concert going around here, is it bad the only reason I want to go to the Bon Jovi/Daughtry concert this Sunday is just to look at the scenery?

If anyone near newton iowa has any performance parts for a 2000 ls1 ta let me know. If not i hope to be out in a month and a half or so trying out the new build. If anyone near newton wants to meet up sometime in the next 3 weeks and wants to give a hand putting the car back together let me know.

No ghost here. I am alive and well and pop my head in here now and then!!!
For those of you that don't know, it was Josh's birthday yesterday (DarkHalf on here). Hopefully it was a good one and you have fun this weekend!
On another note, I heard that Porky's will be open for another 3 months or so and they will be doing their normal cruise nights during that time. So, get out on Wednesday and Saturday nights while it lasts.
I, too, am planning on making CFR on May 3rd. Hoping to finally get some cool weather passes in the Marauder. I think the 90+ degree and 90+ humidty times I have made passes in it are hurting the times some. And it definitely runs better in this cool weather than the dead of summer - obviously...
And on a GM/LS1 note: I have been starting to look at C5 Convertibles as my next car to add to the fleet. I think a nice yellow or blue 'Vert with 6 speed and Z51 would look nice parked next to the Marauder in the garage. First thing is buy a new house next year and then the Corvette (and got to fit the Twin Screw supercharger and brake upgrade for the Marauder in there, too). So I will be coming back to the GM fold again at some point, but in a Y-Body instead of an F-body this time.

I've been wondering how long it would take for you to see the light. I've been down the corvette road in my younger days, but I'm definately an f-body guy now. Welcome back.
