I have a Metallic Green Formula with 4" single tips out the rear with 98-02 tailights on the back. You guys are doing the install like the same time that the races are going on. Looks like im going to have to see if they are running on friday night now......

got the motor replaced. I hate pre 96 cars cuz you actually have to drill the door panel to expose the rivets. But shes in and works and thats all that matters.

Question for you guys who are drag racing your LSX motor/cars. Have you done anything to your rear ends? Im concerned I have too much power/trq for the little guy on a sticky strip. You dumping it and its holding up? Slipping more I would assume because of trackion issues. I want to put new gears etc in my car, but holding back because I really just need a new rear end... JUst curious to what you guys are doing/changed etc. I have always been a car guy, but never really got to a strip, just streets (which I need to get away from before its too late). Been drag racing my bike, but would like to get into the car. I just dont want to break something

Also, the places you all are going too, they allow bikes? Is it bracket or just for fun? Heads up? How are things run where you are going etc. Thanks guys!
Anybody got anything for me?

I have seen 10 bolts 4.10s last a pretty decent amount of time with slicks & nitrous launches, some break with Nittos & bolt ons. They are weak, if you plan on getting a good 60' time, you might want some spare cash setting around. I have a 400+ rwhp auto with 3.73s & used to have nitrous. The stock Auburn posi came apart & the pinion got busted up, that happened on the street w/ ET radials & no nitrous. I put a Eaton posi in it w/ Moser axles & Motive gears, everything has been fine with it so far.

Bikes are welcome @ the TnT sessions, you need a toggled kill switch, leather jacket & boots. It depends on the track & the day, but some times they have bracket races going that you can enter.

I'm racing in KC on 11/3, it is a TNT track rental that is put on by the MO Fbody club/website. I went to the last 2 & watched, so I prepaid to race this time. Hoping to knock out some good NA runs!!!

Street tires & 4.10s wouldn't be very fun. It is a fun driver, no need to race it...plus it is for sale.

I think I could find a set of slicks pretty quick! I sold mine, so no racing for me for a while.

well guys, another successful header install on a SWEET SS camaro. Just got home from doing the install, and it went well. I must say, the Pacesetter headers fit the best, bar none to any header i have seen. Might have to get a set myself here next year or so to replace the flowtechs. I think Andy will be happy with the new sound, and the new performance! hopefully next year around this time, we will be doing LS6 intake and a nice cam package :-) Andy, I should have a house by this time next year, with a nice garage, so you could come down for the weekend if you wanted too, and we could put a nice cam and intake on that car. Nice meeting some new people, and getting to wrench on a cherry SS. Car is absolutelly CLEAN!!!

Yep, everything went great. Didn't run into too many snags. It was a real pain in the *** to get the ORY hooked up to the catback though. Headers went in smooth as silk though. No grinding or cutting of anything. It was a good learning experience for me, although I didn't do much. Rodney was the work horse. I appreciate all that you and Jesse did. It's good to have friends that are willing to help out with things like this. I had a good time today. I love the new power and sound as well. Thanks again guys.

I agree, it is absolutely clean..I think the header install went pretty well. Andy's car sounds pretty mean. Pulls pretty good to. I think your TA was pretty clean to rodney.

Riding around in andy's car gets me wanting to bite the bullet...I know i cant afford it now. Maybe soon though..when i get a job that pays well enough to pay for my truck. Maybe when summer starts back up we could have a BBQ to kick it off?

Getting a few of the Iowa guys together for a BBQ would be awesome! Maybe Dave and M6WS6, unstang, etc could make it also!
