Hey M6WS6. I was up in ames yesterday going down Lincoln way around 3:20ish and saw a silver WS6 that sounded pretty healthy going the other way. I was in a beat up pickup with a GSXR 1100 in the bed of the truck. Heading back down to Johnston. If it was you it looked great.

Pull the steering colum cover off. Look right behind the lock cylinder. The is a little wire that breaks 99% of the time. It sometime touches witch would explain the starting. Good luck

when my camaro did that it was a dead starter..i turned the ignition several times and it would kick over eventually. Had power and everything, so there are two things you could check..

That was probably me actually. I was out and about and heading to meet my fiance for a late lunch. I think I remember seeing you, because I remember the GSXR ( I just recently sold my Gixxer) What year is the GSXR?

Well, I used my stupid *** stock car jack and jacked up the side. Got underneath real quick and knocked on the starter to see if it was the brushes or something. Sure as **** it started right up after I did that. I packed some **** up and headed home to okoboji (no garage here, friends have garages, but nothing big enough for a car).

Replaced the starter since they dont just sell a ******* soleniod. Also changed oil, installed my cutout (I had to drill all the bolts out....Never again), and did all my laundry at home as well as ate and drank for free! Well worth the gas there and back (28 MPG's)

Thanks for the suggestions. Brought it back again because I didnt feel like driving my old Grand Prix. Hopefully I will make a meeting, when do you guys meet and where again?

Well it was nice meeting everyone on here, I have sold my car and now have switched to the other side! I know that no one will hang out with me anymore because of this extreme change I made. Man is it going to suck not having a fast car
