Actually Brian if you are interested I have an SLP dual / dual catback still sitting at Iowa muffler from my loudmouth install. It has got some miles onit. You are welcome to it man if you like. Anything for another Anniversary car right?

If you have a list for 7 cylinders I'm in...lol...10.28 at 131 mph with a hole the size of a quarter in cylinder number one.

So far the damage doesn't sound to terrible. Eric told me today that the cylinder head has minor damage on the exhaust port but chamber looks good and the cylinder wall is in good shape.

Its the only strip ive been to, but prep was pretty decent. Only fallback that I can see is that the comeback lane is gravel. And if your going to do any wrenching while your there, its going to be on grass. Alota nice people though...mostly the regulars where everyone knows everyone.

I was at the one last month. Nice cars but was a little cold. What time were they going to open the track?

PM me your track times & a brief rundown of your set up & I'll add you to this list. Once we have something, I'm sure we can get it stickied.

I know there are other Iowa members that don't post in this thread & have fast stuff, if you talk to them, put them in touch with me.

List Requirements:
-You have to currently own the car & have the current set up, no past records will be posted.
-Car must be LSx powered, no exceptions.

Since I'm first to post, I'm top dog-for now.

Unstang- 11.39 @118.03
01FbTaWs6- 11.98 @ 117.7

I need to get a tune and the clutch in and get some new times as these times are 2 years old and that was when I had exhaust and CAI only.

At this point I can't say for sure, but I think that injector might have quit or gotten plugged. Nos suggested a 51 jet for fuel on a 200 shot and I had a 55 in it to play it safe. I was also running cold tr8 plugs with 112 octane in the dedicated. I pulled the plugs after running at Eddyville and they looked a little rich without any sign of detonation so I thought I was ready to go. Then at CFR that cylinder melted down on me while all the others were fine.

I'm pretty disapointed because I did a ton of research to get it right and I still got burnt...at the same time I'm trying to stay positive because it is my first time breaking during all my time racing and I've known since the beginning that it's part of the game.

i was thinking injector failure from the begining, make sure you test the harness also, to make sure it hasnt rubbed thru and grounded on somthing else.

good luck with it, and yes its part of the game, mines just a slowmobile but seems like all i do is wrench on it..

Also looks like tomorrow night is going to be clear as of now, has anyone decided if they're going to rookies or not for a wed. gtg??

When you start messing with stuff out of the bottle, you just never know what to expect. Of course the same is true when you start modding these things in general, I know. But yeah its all part of the game, it is a risk we all take. Lets keep our fingers crossed that you are up and running in no time and even better than ever

If it is not raining, a few of us are going to give Porkys a shot....It may be the last time I head out there before they level it!

Porky's is on Douglas and Lower Beaver. Across from Walgreens. Small parking lot so if its packed be prepared to park across the street.

If you're coming on I-80, the easiest way to get there is to get off at Merle Hay and turn left (south) onto Merle Hay. Drive south until you hit Douglas (south edge of the mall) and turn left (east). Porky's is about a mile on the south (right) side of the road.

After the ride home I have to get my fenders rolled, anyone know how much the ws6store charges?? maybe they'll cut me a deal since i need some prothane motor mounts lol.

Also on the way home i ran into a mazda miata on MH road...I was really confused when it was loaping more then mine was..i yelled over thats not stock is it... all he said was nope light turned green and he hammered it i got on it but it was too late the next stop light he told me it had a 302 in it and it weighed 2300lbs. light turned green this time a good start and the ole lt1 came out on top...I got out of it both were having fun and we turned our seperate ways lol.
