There are 3 brothers, all 3 of them have some type of hot rod. I work with paul which i believe is his brother. I am thinking he has an olds (442?) stroked and poked with a blower. Paul is always telling me to go out and run his brother ctsv. I think the other brother has a red, 4th gen F-body Vert. I think its a d1 equipped blower car.

Terry, I cant see how your lightly modded auto beat him in town and on the highway. I raced him plenty of times to know what his car will do. I personally feel that Cobbs car launched properly ( no fear of breaking driveline) would run very low 12's. it might even be an 11sec car with driver mod. His car would pull 2 lenghts on mine out of the hole with me on street tires.

You do know that the other person has to be fully aware that you are in fact going to race? You can't just mash the gas, when they're oblivious to whats goin on, and chaulk up a victory for yourself...

I was with Luke when Cobb and he got on it once, and from 10-15 mph Cobb was RIGHT there. I know that Luke and I were pretty much dead even, and Drew was just a little slower than me... so, per your math, your car should be qucker than mine, Drew's and Lukes? With over 100 less wheel HP and and at least 500 more lbs than mine or Drews, and probably 150-160 less than Lukes?

I no thinky so.

Sounds like Cobb needed the driver mod those runs. Cobb, were you drinking?

And Terry, don't take this hard, but you'd get lit up by Switches, let alone Cobb's car when it was running well. Maybe I should put a 75 shot on the BMW?

edit: And damn, I suck. Nice pics J-Rod. Put a little black paint on that thing and no one will even see it.

Talk to Cobb and if he tells the truth, in town we were next to each other he stabbed it, I stabbed it, he probly got the jump, but missed his shift, I passed. The next night he came up to me at the lot and said that I didn't win becaus he missed a shift. ok so be it, I have an automatic so it doesn't even count right?

Both times fully aware: 1ST. HE jumped, The 2nd time I'm pretty sure there was a honk start from about 45-50 mph ask him. I raced Zach, then Cobb raced me, I won both.

His car was strong no doubt. I don't know why I passsed him. Ask him, maybe it was cold out or the planets aligned just that once in a lightly modded F-bodie's direction.

He was pulling hard on me when he dug that first time out by Jefferson pointe, I had a 205 lb guy in my passenger seat. He still missed a shift.

I'd be even more worried if the shift he missed was the 1-2 shift.

Ok ok yeah I saw it they did like a 40ish roll and Terry got him, but I think Cobb missed a shift cuz Terry did walk away hard. All I could see was a tide racing jacketed arm fist pumping out the window faster than when your local D & D dork discovered his first playboy and vasoline combo. No offense Terry but the guys are right Cobb should have decimated you. But, I see where Terry's comin from too, they raced twice and both times (I think?) Cobb missed a shift so what do you do? Its a draw that's what it is, but without missing those shifts it probly would have been pretty obvious like 5-6 lengths.

LOL. That gray Evo beat me when I missed a shift. The sad part is I spent 2-3 seconds trying to find the gear, finally got it, and he still hadn't passed me yet.

Oh, and by the way, I had a loose shift handle (Pro-5.0). That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

the first race, i remember, i did miss 2nd gear. and the reason i said you didn't win was because i hardly counted it a race, a low roll in 1st and shortly into 2nd. jefferson blvd is not where i prefer to do my racing, especially right in front of jefferson point.

the 2nd race i really cant remember, i remember it being close, but i don't recall what all happened.

and yes, i do need a driver mod. the biggest problem in that car was 1st gear was so short, I'd get taken off guard by the rev limiter on a regular basis.
