Don't need to park in the Freezer. I WORK IN IT!

O and just to let you know we had a 5 min. meeting today and Ronnie Irwine told us our cost of living raise is 45 cents and even better it starts tomorrow!!!

Hey JPH, Brad, and Shocker, if you can be a man and tough this cold weather this morning then you should come work at Walmart and make 2-3 times as what you do now!

And JPH, you should really think about going to work for Walmart Distribution Center so you can get your car done before you retire!!!!
Thats good news Adam, everyone on my shift was freaking out since nothing has been said yet. That makes for 2 raises in 1 month I get. Adam, we are lucky though, the guys that work at the Performance food group in kendallville only make .04 a case thrown. Which equals to about $300-$350 a week paycheck and that is what I made when I worked at the store.

I was refering to international cold storge off of hadley road. Yeah I think thats what it's called. I'm sorry Big box devil I got lost?
NO. Distribution in Garrett. Never even heard of international cold storage. I think Wal-mart is the only place that can be called the devil. I shop too much their and the damn 10% we get.

Oh and my father gave me some of the model cars that he made as a kid. Old gassers that he made and some vintage drag racers. I'll have to take some pictures.

I was going to do that (I use some of that on each of my v-band connections, as well as the turbo flange and the manifold/crossover joints.

However, I used the GM MLS gaskets, and they're ~1/16" thick, and the system was build around that thickness, and it actually tweaks my v-band in the crossover just a little if I bring that manifold in 1/16".

If I had it all to do over, I would have just used the copper silicone to begin with.

Thanks guys. Yeah we did the install in July at Cartek in NJ. It was about 100* outside, and their shop isn't air conditioned. It was probably 110* inside!

I think I would rather have 100* weather than that -0* **** we had!

HAHA. too funny bver.

The job isn't that high paying. Its decent for no experience required. I'd rather be doing what you do. Don't car salesman make more than we do? I think top pay for weekend orderfilling is about or a little more than 19.00 an hour (~40,000/yr without benefits, bonuses, overtime or incentive)?

Ya you got me on that one beaver. I know I need to read some books but I hate reading with a passion besides car magazines!

Applications are done on computers at the distribution center. So far they have only hired 3 people this year. They might be hiring more here soon when they gain the extra stores back with the realignment.
