Sold when the gas skyrocketed but we used to have a 2002 silverado short bed side step Z71, and I loved that truck, ride, turning radius, power, and 4 wheel always pulled us out. A lot of those trucks had an issue with the marker lights in front going out prematurely. and I think we had to tighten the steering wheel hub but that was it. Brakes were easy to change. I love a 5.3 ltr motor. Maybe ford does this too ,but the skin of the bed was plastic to save weight. we stil lonly got maybe 17-19mpg.

Nick,
We'll have to build a support bracket for that fo' sho.
On a positive note I figured out how to save you ~90 dollars on the oil feed setup. Woohoo!
Let me know when you get the pan and stuff ready and we'll get some more work done on the car. Do you have access to a MIG to start tacking the hot side?

Its coming along. Finished tacking all the pipes from the intercooler to the full exhaust. Then I ran into a small problem. My buddy alex (neukin.com) that was going to weld them had a small issue with his shop after I dropped everything off.
and my stuff is under water somewhere in that pic. Everything thing was caked in nasty fortwayne river water residue (spelling) I took all the stuff to the car wash and nick gratefully took my headers to have them cleaned up at c&p.Thanks again nick. All the other pipes are big enough to run a rag through. Not sure if the muffler will be okay though. Its a borla XR-1 and I'm not sure if they had any fiberglass packing in it. If there is then its f'd and my truck will just have to be louder I also have to take the BOV apart to clean it. It was on the ground as well
I can't be to mad cause alex lost a lot and is going to be doing a lot of clean up for awhile. All his cars were damaged from the engines being full of water to ECU being f'd.

Yeah, Rob (the owner of the red RX-7 submarine) posts on the fort wayne RX-7 club, and contrary to what I believe about all rotards, Blake said he was really cool. It always sucks to see cars like that though...

Yeah Rob's a good guy, fo sho. When I sold him my spare diff he brought me a 1 liter mt. dew instead of the 20 oz I required as payment. That's a nice RX7 too.
He said the car is okay though, he drained the water out of the motor and it fired right up. Go rotary go!
I saw your headers at Nick's today Jared, nice work man, those are going to be SWEET.
Nick's new turbo is bigger than me. It's like 7 feet tall. I think it displaces more than his engine, no idea how it's going to fit in the engine bay (and still fit a cooling system) but we'll figure it out. Should make power though, it's the Shaq of 88 trim turbochargers.
Drove the perscription 7 for a while today, it did pretty well, finally have a solid idle on decel and my AFR is pretty close. Biggest problem tonight was a flaky headlight. Yay eBay HID kits...

Unfortunatley The Camaro is one of the last projects of mine on a long list. I'm pretty sad acutally cause I don't want to drive it until I consider it finished, but I know I'll cave and have it out in all of it's weird looking glory soon.
