[QUOTE=SS1875;11756282]Called and left you a message this morning....got home late last night and didn't have my phone with me. 11.64 @121 1.73 60 ft. was the best I could do. Hot, heavy air, greasy track and clutch issue. I'm just given JPH a hard time about it....better all around but doesn't pull hard on the big end like the GT1-1 did. Nitrous isn't wired and may never be....thinking of selling it and getting some better heads.

Even if you got a kick *** short time, like a 1.50 60 ft, you would only be in the 11.20 in the 1/4 mile at probably the same mph. Not bad, but that is assuming a dead hook on real tires (28 in tall I imagine). I wouldnt spend a dime more on that current engine, sell it and get a whole motor from a vendor, like a nasty 403 LS2 setup with 235 cc Trick Flow heads that will make 500+rwhp. Dont be scared of the nitrous!!! Spray the bitch and keep the current setup and just drive it!
DId you have rubbing issues with 28 in tires in the past? Did you grind your rear calipers to clear 15 in rims? What clutch would work out do you think??????

This setup is not for NA so I should be happy that it was even close to the old setup MPH/Time wise...but you know me. I think better heads on this combo would be a better choice than an entire new LS2 setup...this motor makes power but needs to breath a bit more and my LS6 heads are as far as they can go.
I'm only leery of the Nitrous because of the clutch issues with these cars....doesn't seem to matter what you do to fix it,new hydro's, master cylinders, clutch etc., they are never right and with my luck something would happen and I would spray through a shift and pop the motor. I want to see what it is capable of doing however I need to be cautious at the same time.
Yes had rubbing issues with the 28" tall tires but only after some heat cycles on them...would rub at the front and back of the tires outer wheel well area. I ran 16 inch wheels with ET Streets that I borrowed from Snapps Sunday. looking to getting some Billet Specialty or Bogarts but have to get working and generate some cash flow first.

What are the cam specs of your old cam and new cam? I thought your new cam was on a tighter lsa and was bigger? I'm sure a 28" tire will make a big difference also

Old cam 229/242 .631/.631 114
New cam 236/242 .624/.609 113+3
28" tires would help the 60 ft.

DO NOT buy Billet Specialties from The Billet Spot (dragwheelz.com is his user name and web site). He is a sponsor on here. Thats where I ordered mine from almost 7 weeks ago. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...l#post11764075

Thanks for the heads up.....it will be quite awhile before it happens...besides I need skinny's to clear my c5 brakes up front and Billet Specialty doesn't make them yet. Bogart's might be the way to go.
I hope they get you squared away soon....sucks when companies want your money and then don't follow through on the goods.

I'm not going tomorrow.
1. It's going to rain
2. If it's not raining, the air will suck
3. Track prep seems marginal
4. Julie works, so I'm "Daddy Day Care" (Her mom did offer to watch the kids, though)
5. I'm a pu$$y, I know.....
