...just rode in a buddies C6 Z06 with a few bolt-ons. Pretty impressive car. Would've walked all over the Formula.

It had something wrong in the motor. It's an FC BTW. I'm hoping he paid under 3500 dollars for it?

A bolt on C6 Z06 should be a good run for your Camaro....bolt on cars are running 125-130 mph and real low 11's on stock tires. They are pretty unreal when you think about a stock car! cam/heads/intake/exhaust packages are putting down 600 rwhp. Just silly!!!!!!!!!

It was pretty fast. I don't think it would contend with my Z. The previous owner ran a best of 11.4 @ 124. My Z runs better on the street than it ever has on the track, and I've picked off a 11.1 @129.

I think his Z06 is in between the speed of my Formula (assuming achieving traction in the Formula) and my Z. None of the races would be a slaughter, but I don't think any of them would be neck and neck either.

I'm sorry to hear that. That thing is quite the turd. He def needs to go through that car with a fine tooth comb, as well as check out the lifters in it. I haven't seen the car since early summer, but it was by no means a car I'd put faith in

Fenderwells are supposed to look like that (they have plastic liners that are out currently).

Tell your buddy to get a shroud or an electric fan on that car before he overheats the motor.

And to go through the top end if it hasn't been done already. The previous owner was saying how F'd up something was in the top end

Ok, I'll be sure to tell him. The guy who got the car is a pretty cool person. Now if I could only get rid of my turds so I can get something that is useful.

Besides not sitting behind a computer all day anymore, I've been working on my junk. Should be up and running in the next couple weeks.

All I can think of when I see that pic......

"Hey, I had my 1982 Camaro parked outside my trailer for the past 9 years under a tarp with a sweet azz 350 all decked out with Iron double hump heads, Thrush headers, and Edelbrock hi-rize intake and ****....and someone stole the damn thing!"

New shortblock shipped today. Should be here Friday. Nate hopes to have the old one out by next weekend. Then Joe can check it over. Heads and intake will go to Al for inspection and any additional port work on the intake.

Julie's in the loop now. Not happy, but eerily calm. I sleep with one eye open.
