Well, good news on the transmission, it's perfectly fine.
I however, am an idiot. A small piece of plastic from the trim fell into the shifter assembly (the Pro5.0, not inside the transmission) and caused it to hang up instead of going into 1/3/5/R. Whoops. Fixed now, but the car is apart (since I pulled the tranny...) so I'll probably take care of a few other things while it's apart.
At least nothing it broken.

I was wrong though. 25 bolts. The 22 above + 2 for the slave and 1 for the exhaust (V-band).

But yes, it took an hour and ten minutes. I could probably cut 10-15 minutes off of that if it was a hurry. We should have a race sometime, I change trannies while an F-body changes spark plugs.

Do you split the bellhousing, or pull it all out in one piece? I pull mine out in 2 pieces and its a bit easier. The time sounds about right though. Just think how fast we could do these up on a hoist! I'll race you changing spark plugs in my car... I think you might beat me.

oh lawdy, poor frankie.
Mike,
I've been around, just haven't been posting much. Just cruising around in da slowest Regal ever....I really need to figure out why it is so slow. Asides from my fatass and bad driving.

-azar, glad to hear you're still alive, lol. it's ok you have the slowest regal, it'll just make the rx7 feel faster when you drive it again, haha.
btw, changing f-body spark plugs ftl. much busted up knuckles and frustration...

It would be great to have a lift. The next house I build (probably 8-10 years from now) will have a pole barn with a concrete floor, heat (at least SOME heat) and a 2 post. Hopefully a TIG, an 80 gallon compressor and a sandblast cabinet also. We'll see, need more income first.
