Darrin, try this fluid concoction. 3 quarts of regular off the shelf mercon dexron III and 1 quart of Lucas oil automatic trans stop slip additive. I believe that the stop slip has a friction modifier in it which causes the synchros to grab quickly and not wear as bad.
I would also make absolutely sure that your clutch is disengaging perfectly. It cant be close if you are banging gears, it must be tight but not slipping.
I'm not sure how difficult it is for you to change fluids in your chassis, but if its not a PIA, drop out the old fluid and pop the shift top off and pour through the top. I would recommend that you microwave or let the stop slip additive heat up in some hot water in a 5 gallon bucket before you pour or it will take 20 minutes to pour it in.

With the vast amount of work in Nicks car from starting with what he had, to the finished prodoct of ready to turn key, without a doubt he will have bugs to work out, and issues that need to be delt with. Tuning is just one of the big things. But, when everything is ironed out, its gonna be wicked! ![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)

I hope Im reading into this the wrong way or something Darren... I just find it so damn hard to understand how your car and you seem to find every part ever produced to have issues and or problems.
