Another Hall's deal!!!
I just saw this in a different post. I wonder what direction EPP is going now.

Brent is leaving us once we get all the cars we have at the shop completed. He got a great job offer that I wouldn't have turned down either! With Brent leaving I'm going to shut down the service side and concentrate on the sales end. My wife found out two days ago that she has a serious problem with her thyroid, and I have collapsing vertebrae in my neck on both sides of my spine that I need to get fixed, as it is putting pressure on some nerves going into my arms that's not exactly pleasant.
FWIW For those of you who lift weights, I've used one of those plastic Manta Ray pads that clip on the bar, to do squats and calve raises. I've been doing calve raises for about 20 years with 305 pounds of weight. This has always helped my back as I was in a nasty car wreck back in '77, and broke my neck in three places. Whenever I'd slack off on the weighs my back would start hurting. My neck now hurts exactly where that pad would rest, and I just had an MRI that came back with moderate to severe damage to my vertebrae. I guess you don't want to do anything forever. Bob

Ouch, that sounds like no fun at all Bob. Luckily I'm lazy and don't work out anymore.
All the best to you and the wife, hopefully both of you get your medical stuff sorted out.

Well, that answers that, huh?
Sorry to hear about you and your wife's physical issues. I've had 3 back surgeries and have the tell-tale symptoms again, so I might be headed for the operating table sooner than later. I'm bummed out because I haven't been to the gym since August. Seems that I start hurting when I don't workout. Hope you and your wife start feeling better soon.

Sorry to hear the bad news Bob. Kinda lousy for all of this to go down at this time of the year. I wouldn't wish that upon anybody.
Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers this holiday.

Thanks Ben. It's actually easier at this time of the year, in a way. I'll have a lot less stress without having to make sure I have the required parts for the upcoming service jobs, keeping billing up to date, constantly sending out quotes, etc. It has been hard to do this and get back to all the messages for the sales side of it. Being in a part of the country where the Winter jobs traditionally slow down has always kept me from hiring someone full time to assist me at my end of the job. Perhaps our location is too close to Lingenfelter's, or I just suck at what I do, hard to say. There are a lot of places that do pretty well at just selling parts, so I'm pretty confidant that things will work out. Bob

Thanks Darren! Brent got a great job offer and I'm really happy for him. We'll have a busy couple of weeks getting the cars we have in the shop done. Bob
