That's kind of the plan Just need a car in town that's fast enough to prove the setup against. Tony moved and Massey's is a 1/4 mile car, no one else around, AFAIK, is building a mile car

I challenge ye to a duel!

Come race an NMCA with me, they have a mandatory 30 mile cruise and 3 hotlap passes imediately afterwards. No changes to car other than tire psi are allowed. No gas refills, no hoodpops, etc

Although it may not prove anything because i wont have an intercooler at all.

Scott, that pass was a 250 hit pulling 16* of timing, the next week it ran a 9.71 @ 139 pulling 15* with a **** 60ft at St. Louis

Hey Nick I'll race you in July when Nate and I are done with my car and Frost tunes it! Mine will be a A2A setup well within your power range and we can see how your setup works in the heat in July compared to mine.... Maybe even throw down a friendly $100 bet! Better get a working!!

Kaboom V4.0 weighs in at 3720 with me (185) in it and a full tank of gas. Added the iron block, FAB9, beefier suspension stuff. Subtracted the Bogarts and tires, K member, corvette front brakes, front bumper support. It was 3680 with me V3.0, so just about even.

whats your deal man..... I never once said **** about anything you are doing... If you want to build your car using air/water intercoolers I dont give a ****... Im not doing it nor do I care how you do it.. Its not my car or build... I didn't need your approval for how I designed the stuff nor do you need my approval.. To each their own...

Look a little closer to what I said

" Bill and I removed the air/water due to the fact it just flat out didn't work at all and installed a custom built air/air intercooler from Bell Intercoolers "

NOTHING ABOUT YOUR CAR !

" Lets just say the air/water intercooler setup on the truck not even making boost was causing IAT to climb over 150 deg. in 80 deg. weather...
Now with the air/air and Methanol we start under ambient air temp and at the end of three gears when its climbed to its highest we never made it above 118 deg. which made us very happy.. The thing about air/water is it heats up and no matter what size heat exchanger it never cools back down enough... Great for the track...not so great for street/roll racing "

NOTHING ABOUT YOUR CAR !

The Trailblazer was built for the street not the track or mile racing stuff...

Grow up and move on !

FYI, I didn't build his transmission nor did I have anything to do with it starting to slip 2-3... Imagine that a gm 4L70 slippin... Other than adding horse power it couldn't handle

Does this mean you are going to upgrade your rearend on your car? I gotta be honest Robby, you've got one of the cleanest best looking T/A WS6 in town, and I am sure it will dyno a ton when it gets done. But you never drive the thing. It stays clean in your garage, and it comes out maybe twice a year. If you are going to put the kind of money into it that it will take to do an FI build correctly, for the love of pete, PLEASE DRIVE THE DAMN THING!!

With that said....when we get my car finished I will race Nick aka Beast with my car! Even throw down a $100.

I've stressed my concern on the rear end as well... It's probably not in the cards this year due to the amount he is already spending.. I agree it does need to be driven more as does mine.
Sorry we missed you in St. Louis, Sean was super pumped you had just stopped by and got some much needed car talking time in with him. Rob and I stayed two nights and went to the shootout with Sean we all had a good time.. I managed to get 22mpg with the silver car so I was happy

Ben- I do drive it, you have just been out of town sir! I am sorry I keep my stuff clean and it appears I don't drive it! I don't like the track if that's what you mean by driving it! When we finish i may go to the track once that's it! It's a street car, dyno car and show car nothing more! If i wanted a drag car I'd build one!
