Nick, the car looks amazing! Can't wait to see it completely back together with the wheels.

Terry, I didn't know you were legally allowed back on the street!?

I know that this is a long shot, but let me know if any of you guys have an AOD trans you may be interested in parting with. I'm working on a side project right now.

Picked Massey's car up from the exhaust shop.. Here are a few pictures of the y-pipe.... Haven't taken any of the muffler section yet but here is what Bill Davis ended up making us... 3 1/2 inch to a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 4" Merge to a 4" Magnaflow Muffler then a turn down

I think you could sell that with the y-pipe as a system ?? Might be worth a try at least

Muffler is way too low. Tried to copy another car's setup, but my car is much lower than that one, appearantly. Hopefully, a bullet will work. If not, I'll have to neck the 4" down to 3 1/2" or 3", then put a bullet on it. Trying to keep it somewhat quiet (which it is now), but the Magnaflow muffler is just too big and hangs too low.

Honestly you should have stuck with a 3" exhaust, that is plenty for your car.

There are cars with 1000HP + running 3" exhaust without any issues.

Bill does great work but like anything else it comes with a price. Sorry the system won't work out the way you planned it to...sucks having to do stuff over again......trust me I know.

I think the Y-pipe and merge will be fine, just the muffler and turndown will need reworked. It'll work out. We just need to get under the car and see exactly what we have room for and go from there.

Gotcha. If you end up selling the muffler, let me know. I've been looking at 4" mufflers for my car

I'll be selling the muffler as soon as I have a replacement. Magnaflow 4" inlet and outlet, 5X9 case.

Massey, car looks great, but 4" exhaust under a street car??? C'MON! lol, stick with 3 or 3 1/2". That thing is going to be so silly loud with a bullett on it your neighbors are going to love you as much as your wife does now! I bet she is SOOOO glad I sold my car a few years ago...lol...Hope you get the whole season out of the 4L60E, that rear is going let you launch just silly hard! How is the pinion angle with the 9", I heard they need set up perfect or they rob too much power???

UNRELATED STUFF..

If anyone has a wii, listen up....
I got a guy that will modify the wii to work with external harddrive and will load 212 games on the external HD. This allows the wee to download any game disc onto the HD as well. I have a 500g HD connected with usb to back of wii and 2 mb scandisc card in wii memory slot, and the programming done. Works great, have 212 games to choose from and can put any new ones directly onto the HD. 500 gig seems to hold roughly 230 games, so if you want more than that, buy a 750 gig or 1T HD. IF you supply HD (can get 500gig at office depot for like $75) and a 2g scandisc (flat ones like for use with cameras and stuff), it only costs $100 to do the programming/setup and install 212 games. If your interested just text me or get ahold of me here, welcome to come over and see it in action. Pretty cool to basically never have to buy a game again....just rent or borrow, and in 10-15 min they are downloaded onto HD. The best part is no stack of disc's to mess with and store, very compact! Let me know...it usually takes a couple of days. He needs the wii console, one controller (no nunchuck) and yuor HD and scandisc. He can buy a scandisc and HD for you, just add about $100 (so total $200 if you want him to buy the HD and scandisc).

Anyone have an RV they want to rent to me for about 4-5 days middle of July? Want something decent with electric and water hookups, shower, toilet, and sleeping for 2. Let me know!

Starting to learning to fly the new bird today. She's big, heavy, and makes a loud noise when you open her up
