Just wanted to let you guys know a friend of Hamrick and I is selling his Black 94 Z28 M6. It's extremely clean and has 79,000 miles on it. It's a 3 owner car, 2 of whom are same family. Completely stock except for a Hooker catback and some OE Concepts Black ZR1's. 17x9 front and 17x11 rear with all new Sumitumos. Both of which added this last year, maybe a couple hundred miles on the tires. Plus comes with the salad shooters w/ GSC's. Has cloth, full power, and t-tops, everything works including AC. I believe he's asking $5200 for it.
If you know anyone interested PM me and I'll get you his number.

^ Hell, the LS1 cars are almost collectors now honestly! But that doesn't mean that there still aren't a ton of people interested in them, or on a lesser scale the old LT1 cars.
Don't really know many still interested in the L98.

Historic plates maybe...but def. not a collector lol.
LOL....Scott this is so true...92 vette first LT1. I had the oldest car at the LPE track day other than the early 70's erod z28 Hotrod brought.
Poker, anyone????

Ben,
Not sure if you've ever been there, but you might like checking out the forum I run. www.norotors.com
All swap guys (mostly V8, some 1JZ/2JZ), lots of engineers (quite a few military guys also). Since you like the swap, you might enjoy looking around at some of the build logs and tech stuff over there.

You got a mail order tune for a boosted car... When you asked me for one and I said it really needed to be tuned in person, I said that because that's what the car needed. I would have rather seen it done right vs. rolling the dice with your engine. I hope you have a wideband.

100% agree with you Steve. No way to "guess" a tune on a boosted car, it just requires too much accuracy to really get a trustworthy tune.

Considering Bryan has a V, I'm sure there wasn't much guess work going on with Terry's mail order tune. Besides it sounds like it worked out better than what he was left with from the prior tuner.
Plus Brian I'm sure will fine tune anything that may be slightly off..he's good about that compared to others we know.

I'm not saying that you CAN'T mail order it, I'm saying that without a wideband you shouldn't, or at least, you shouldn't be going WOT.
I've done 10 of his year with his mods. The mail order would be the same base I'd use if a car came in tomorrow. Without being able to verify AFR though, who knows. Something silly like a MAF being clocked oddly or covered in filter oil or reporting irregularly could be potentially dangerous.
I'm not to be preachy at all, I just want everyone to be able to enjoy their rides to the fullest. It sucks to have a hurt engine; a little patience is always best when there is cash on the line.
Terry, try and find someone with a wideband local to you that you can toss in there and just get a peek at what the AFR is doing at WOT. Peace of mind is worth that!
