Let the parts buying begin!!!![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
The build will be starting soon....mock up---paint---final assembly! All seems so easy when you type it on a computer.

So I totally missed this thread, but thankfully I was pointed in the right direction.
I'd like to take this time to introduce myself, my name is Derek and I hail from the "wonderful" town of Kendallville. I am a born and raised gearhead, basically grew up in the engine bay of a v8 vega. I'm also a body and paint guy. I have a copper 85 z28 with a 350, that I've owned and built for about 6 years. Nothing too extreme as of yet but a bigger cam, vortec heads and full exhaust in the works (about half the build is sitting on my floor as we speak). But I digress.
I am looking at starting(or joining) an auto group for any generation of f-body in Fort Wayne, and I know of a few guys running around with ls swaps (like the guy in the RX7 I met in my other thread), you guys are more than welcome to come. I'm not looking for any monthly fee's or membership dues, just meeting up occasionally with a bunch of like minded individuals every now and again.
I also belong to Strictly German, the local VW club also out of Fort Wayne. Those cats have given me an extensive amount of help and knowledge, and I'd like to make a community for my Camaro as well. If you guys have any interest in this, feel free to send me pm. I'm open to suggestions or information as well. Thanks for reading and I'll be sure to subscribe to this thread!

Hey Nick, not to sound like a @ick or start any $hit, but this is the same exact size of A2W intercooler that was on that trailblazer before Nate/Bill changed it to A2A, and it didn't work in that application.
I hope you see better results with it man.
Keep in touch.

Sad day today. Put the Z in "storage" for the winter. Never made it to the track. Never got the multiple tune deal figured out in time. Could have gone once NA, but work schedules just didn't match up. Only had it out on the street a couple times all summer. There's always next year, I guess.

I think next year is going to be good. ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
And, completely unrelated, can anybody pull codes on an OBDI LT1? I have an SES on that LT1/RX7 that I'm trying to figure out. Seems to run fine, but definitely fired the SES and is keeping it on.

Easy fix.....epoxy that biatch and throw it back together![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
Seriously though, take the block out, make sure the cylinder wall isn't cracked, clean the block up, put in a nice crank, pistons, rods, bearings etc. etc. and call it a day. Much less money, stout and less headaches(Hopefully). Good luck either way.
