cool cool i have seen the LT1 a few times and the guy just really wants to race me for some reason i will try to get him to go down to the fort if he wants some good races and if he thinks its really fast...i dont know what is all really done

If he forked out the $ for a 383, he's probably got a bit done, but then again, having an old LT1 he'd have to have a lot done to keep up with a mildly modded LS1 such as yours.
Even if its just a 383 with very little mods, its a safe bet he's at least in the 12's.

Hello all,thought Id chim in and see whats cooking. Well it seems to me this Ben/call911 has a problem with me??Iv never meet this guy befor and already is saying ****?? First of all I didn't want to run because I had already slowed down for the off ramp and they surrounded me at the next light 469/maplecrest. 6 cop cars ,2 city and 4 sheriff, guns drawn and alot of yelling going on,would'nt really help to run don't ya think. And yes I do know how to drive my car on and off the track. Iv had it for 5 months and have had it to the strip and have clicked off a 9.89 at 156mph. and have had the car to 194mph with more power to spare. I moved here about 2weeks ago from daytona beach ,florida . What are the good tracks to go to. Well gotta go .Hope to run into you all soon ,have a good holiday

it is a stick so i am not sure how good of a driver he is either...and he ONLY street races and really cheap rear tires so i may have a good chance from a standing start i would think

i dont know yet i tried to run it b4 the tranny tune but when i went down there i was out side the gate and they called it for rain...i think it should be 13.0-13.3 in that area depending on traction and the air but i dont know for sure yet...gonna try on the 6th again

Again it will be hard to say for sure, but I remember when I was full bolt ons with a good set of 16 drag radials going a 13.3, and when I was still N/A in my 383 I did an 11.8, so he definaltly has a chance on beating you if he's got some stuff done. Then again you can make a fast car really slow if you can't drive it well.

hey CALL911 what is all done to your formula?? lol just because i have not seen it yet...and there is a guy in angola that has a LT1 Z28 that is rumored to be a 383 and short tube headers and a 6 speed but it does not sound "right" anyone know anything about it??
