I have done 1.75 on BFG Compt TA 315-35-17 (not drag radials) in my Vette a long time ago at Muncie...I have done some 1.50 short times in my Camaro on drag radials. With your set up 1.8 would be about as good as you could hope for I think.
Tonight would be IDEAL for people to go to Muncie, weather, wind, etc. If you guys want real times, GO NOW!!!!!! Get KDOG to get his car down there and try for a high 11 at 118-120! Nate should get 11.7 I imagine.

well, i didnt see a 1.75.... but i did get a 1.92 tonight. I had a couple of slow passes and a couple of fast ones. Thought i hurt the motor, turned out i had a thermostat stuck closed as far as i can tell no damage. temp got up to 237 before i got her cooled down. refilled coolant reservoir and drove home. temp stayed in the 178 range just like usual. i'm gonna pull the plugs and give her a compression check up and replace the t-stat and radiator.
Here is one of my faster runs. Leslie didnt get the time board after the run, so listen closely at the end.

I'm surprised the Mustang didn't get out of the hole faster; I did 1.95 60' times in my old Grand Prix GTP, on 245 Goodyear Aquatreads, at Muncie. Still, times aren't bad at all, on slicks it should move out pretty well.
Anyone going to be out this weekend? I should be out in the new Mazda; I broke a diff mount on it, but I've got a fresh one and a pinion snubber going in tonight, so hopefully it will hold together a little better.

I would say with slicks and a hard launch, you MIGHT get high 11's...11.85-11.99 or so....
SPRAY IT !!!!!
