Iowa Get-to-gether - Des Moines Area Hey fellas I'm tossing around the idea of a get-to-gether out at my folks house for dinner....starting around maybe 4-5PM. They have a large grass backyard where we can park the cars, large deck, large grill, plenty of room. Some of you know I used to do my car shows there and it would easily hold 100 cars. Located in Norwalk (a couple miles south of Des Moines airport).
We can grill out some burgers or bring your own meat and side, BS, maybe a bonfire, cruise, or whatever. I know some of you have been wanting to meet and I figured if we planned a few weeks in advance it would make time for everyone to get it in their schedule. I'm thinking either august 9th, september 6th, or september 13th. I would do the 3rd or 4th week in august but the wife is due on august 27th and we are expecting early.
What do you all think? If interested please post in this thread and vote which date would work best for you.

Brick Ranch Style house, driveway splits into 3, take the middle one
When: September 6th, 5:00PM
or Sept 13th if the 6th has inclement weather
Bring your own meat for the grill, one side, your own drinks, chairs, wife or g/f...and of course your pride and joy....your ride....because we might go on a spirited cruise plus everyone wants to see it.
Corvettes, F-bodies, GTO's, etc are all welcome.

I vote 8/9, college football takes up most of my Saturdays in the fall.

Josh, where you driving down Meral Hey road earlier around 1230ish? I was helping a friend fix an old monte carlo and saw a trans am that sounded really good. Also congrats on the baby, seems there is alot of people due in august..Any day would be fine for me as well.
