Default New best at 41(WHAT!?) and ALOT of pictures

We went to 41 sunday and got a new personal best. I honestly cant believe the track was working that good.

Previous best was 10.66@125 at Memphis

New best 10.57@126

my dad had a best of 11.1, just needs to work on his launch, one more pass and he'll be in the 10's agian!

This car continues to suprise me...the setup just works, and for a 3700+ pound car, on PUMP GAS, this things a keeper.
It even managed to do a mid-12 pass in 3rd gear all the way down.

WHEELS UP! This thing was just insane, I was glad to grab a few nice shots of it standing up.

POP! Goes the motor. This thing was so unsafe, I though it would break on the line.

We gave paul a chance to make a few runs. He got a best of 10.8 after getting his launch down, and knowing to stay in 1st. He even to the front to lift a little.

.

Excellent. Great job, sounds like you guys made a bunch of runs.

It's not that shocking to run some good numbers at 41.
The problem & reason all the fast guys stopped going was consistency, rocks, attitude & safety.
Had a bunch of buddies at the Sep. SCC, they said the track worked perfect. So it is possible.

Thanks guys.

John I hear ya on the safety part. All he did was look at my fuel and water lines...makes be feel REAL safe..lol

Nim, looks to be a combo of an uneven launch with one tire BARELY on the ground.

60' was 1.4xx best i've ever cut. Tire pressure was about 13.

Track felt good at the launch pad, i kept hitting some bad patches at about the 500' and 1000' mark, and the always dreadful shutdown..lol

had a blast, the car ran great, and i was honestly suprised to see the car go such a high M.P.H when i drove it, id like to think that with that m.p.h and a couple different things (driving) it wouldve gone a low x.50 to a high x.4x, the track felt ok for it being 41 but giving credit where its due,

ive driven and owned alot of fast cars, BUT SpaZ definatly has this car DOWN and he knows what it likes fo sho!!

Simple twist of the bar. But since its 41, and that picture was not me launching it, i'm going to leave it.
