Good Luck ARMY SFC's Good luck to all of the other SFCs out there looking for this Master Sergeant List. Guess we have about a week before the official list comes out.

I predict a big list.....usually the 91Z50, 18Z50, 92Z50, 11Z50, and 25Z50 make up the highest 5 CMFs for MSG.
Usually the 91Z50s are around 200, that is like 19% promotion rate.

Really that is a pretty big list....close to 11% promotion rate overall (21200ish looked at and 1925ish selected)....right....that is huge...when I made it it was 3% and only 69 on the list for 63Z this time 63Z/91Z had like 197 out of 779 slots in the Army ......It is all about timing....
Over the last 5 years there has been a steady decline in the overall MSG positions in the Army until this last FY with a slight increase of overall positions. In addition, the E9 ranks have went unchecked until this last year when a QMP list was announced and 84-86 or so were handed their walking papers.
The years to come will help weed out the SGMs and CSM that are not performing and will inturn make more slots at MSG avalable when the MSGs move up that are selected for E9.
I know it sucks to not get selected..but hang in there and keep doing your best....look for those hard leadership jobs (DS, PLT SGT, Det SGT, 1SG), work on your degree (AA in anything), stay out of trouble, stay fit and keep your records updated.
