you take two 12 volt batteries and wire them in a series, like military vehicles, they run on 24volts. pretty schweet!

i've seen an 18v conversion that spins the wheels too. gotta put some slicks on there.

A buddy of mine did that to his daughters Jeep power wheels. He's an avid offroader and tinkerer. I think he's up to 3 batteries now. It hauls when it gets traction. We were talking about putting some big rubber bands around the tires... But we decided that like most motor sports, when you get traction, you start showing weak points. He didnt watn to have to go fixing plastic parts when they go snap. So she's just happy spinning out in the driveway and zipping around in the grass. haha. Its pretty entertaining to watch.
