just wondering, are the internals on that SS stock? (pistons, rods, crank) I didnt think a stock ls1 could take all that?

The Z28 in the video? Yea all stock as far as I know. I'm a Ford guy, so forgive my lack of LS1 knowledge, but isn't the LS1 shortblock good to around 600hp?

Most agree you're pushing it around 500 (although quite a few just H/C/I guys are pushing that number) 550 is considered the breaking point. I've never seen anything last more than a few months north of that.

hmm, guess we push them harder around here. Several stock bottom end cars north of 550whp.
