The car is stock, respectable time for stock tires, motor not broken in and not the greatest road for good start...plus it's heavy.
I agree that's it's not looking good, the front needs work...The Challenger looks better. Dag, I was hoping it would look good.
Still haven't seen one in person though...so I'm hoping I will be suprised for the better.

i like it better than the the challenger..but if ur going to get a close to 4000lb muscle car u might as well get a GXP or CTS V "Ls2" in the price range.. and get a lil more luxury and 2 more doors.

Why do you think that? What's your definition of "easy"? There really is no
aftermarket yet for the 5th gens, although people are working on things.
It quickly becomes a racecar when you start swapping our rear ends, K members,
seats, etc in an effort to lighten up the car. I don't see anything easy about it especially
since it'll need 600lbs to come off it. That's very unlikely unless you're looking for a tin can.

It's a nice car and all, BUT; heavier, more expensive, and not signficantly faster... isn't that the stuff people were bitching about when the '05 Mustang came out?

I know the new Camaro will only get faster once owners get used to them, but I did personally witness an '02 WS6 with only a whisper lid and SFCs run a 12.99 @ 110mph w/ a 2.15 60'.

Weren't the late 4th gen f-bodies a high 12 second car? Ive heard a lot of late 4th gens breaking into 12's.
BTW what an ugly ugly car. You have to be a TRUE, genuine, die hard camaro fan to spend the cash on that thing.
