I didn't think that was sad at all. I think it's pretty respectable. For approximately the same price as a decked out Mustang GT and almost a full second quicker at a few tenths quicker then the Challenger.
A 2002 SS was rated to be around 13.4 or 13.5 was is not? I see it as a newer car which is quicker and for almost the same price they sold for 7 years ago.
Of course there's room for improvement, and I'm more then confident that plenty of members on this very site will show us just what this car is capable of.
It does need some wider shoes though

From all the threads in the dyno section it seems like the LS3 takes well to tuning so I am sure with a good driver, some decent tires and some tuning/free mods, the car could be well in the 12's. Add some headers and a good flowing exhaust and 11's will be closer than you think, especially with some weight reduc. I like the new camaro, just looks heavy and is. I cant wait to see how much weight people can get off theses car without turning it into a full race car.
