Decided to do some mods to the SS since my factory SS hood was cracked when I rear ended someone over 3 years ago. Replaced it with a fiberglass/cf hood which saved 19lbs over factory. The fiberglass cf spoiler is only 3lbs lighter than stock, but I did it for looks. This isn't everyone's bag but I like it and have gotten a lot of compliments on it as well. Car runs low 10's too

I think it looks kinda cool. I think it would look better though if you painted the hood and the spoiler to match the car but left the hood scoop and a center stripe on the spoiler carbon fiber.

I like this idea, minus the spoiler. That's just me though, I've never liked stripes on the spoiler. CF Manta would definitely look sweet and unique.

i agree it looks good but to look GREAT i'd do the hood in body color, the manta stay CF and then a single stripe down the spoiler that is left carbon. That would really set it off. Then try not hitting anybodylol

Because they don't make a "deck lid", its the whole damn hatch. It would be very costly and probably a pain in the ***, what with all the window swapping and fitting.
