Photoshop flames
OK, so mike was letting me know how he was custom making some
flames with photoshop, since I just use Eye Candy when I do flames.
I took a shot at it. What do you think of these flames? I think they
turned out pretty well.

Hey Pendragon or Doodfromcali, DO you think that you could teach me how to do an animation in PS? I'm guessing that you know how to do it but if not that is fine. If it's too complex and takes lots of practice could I send you about 50 images of a CAD drawing of a motor and you make it into an animation? I normally catch on to things fairly quickly and spend quite a bit of time on the computer so I probably could catch on to it. If you know how to do this and would like to go for the challenge you can IM me at BurntOfferings62 or PM me. Thanks in advance.

To do animation, you need image ready. It's pretty easy.
Put each picture you have on a new layer, then as you go
frame by frame, adjust which image is visible or not.

I like the blue.
I am thinking about changing the color of my text. A few people said it is hard to read the do0d part. I would change it, but stupid me forgot to save the photoshop file.
Did you use eye candy for that?

That was trying to duplicate your PS8 technique
with my lowly little ps7 at home.
Yeah, what is good and bad about your letters is the white
part at top, makes it hard to read, but makes it look like hot
metal which is causing the flames.
I'm convinced you can do almost the same thing a liquify
with the smudge tool as well.
Never did get around to the eye candy job, this technique
probably looks better.

I think the liquify is easier because you can change brush size and brush pressure. But to each it's own I am going to re-do mine tonight to make the word a little more visible

I was thinking about the liquify feature. You think maybe we could use it for making flame outlines on peoples cars? I am going ot mess around with it since I am blowing off one of my classes
