I have a feeling if he even tried to put that much power to the ground on those icy roads it would send the vehicle out of control and into who knows what. The point of the movie was to show that the car CAN be driven on the street although thats not what its meant for, pretty cool if you ask me.

Dan wasn't driving, it was someone else in the shop. Yes the roads are icy and cold here now. I wouldn't even attempt to floor my Silverado in this crap. It sure will be fun driving my TA next week from storage garage to my house 15 miles away in this weather.

The car is at Livernois Motorsports in Dearborn Heights, MI. I'm from Grand Rapids, but I work in Detroit during the week. I have some friends that work at Livernois, that's how I found out about much of what was going on. They were joking about it last week and actually did it this week as the snow flew. I'm anxious to see what streets they plan to roam in the spring! I'm not sure if the car is on display at the shop, but it definitely sounds like Dan is going to do some more local events. If you can't catch it at the shop I can imagine that you'll see it at the track in the spring.

2500 South Gulley Road, it's 1 mile east of the Southfield freeway off Michigan Ave.

Actually , Gulley is about 5 miles WEST of southfield. Livernois is about one mile west of Telegragh, just south of Michigan ave on Gulley Road.

Another great video from them is when they peg the dyno in the same stang.
